For employers

Composite personnel, supplied properly

Contract workforce, fully mobilised project teams, permanent recruitment and consultancy for composite manufacturers across the UK and Europe. With a pool of more than 400 experienced technicians, we will certainly have the right person to fit your role.

When to call us

Situations we resource

Composite production rarely moves in straight lines. Campaigns compress, moulds change over and a line that was fully crewed in March is short handed by June. We exist to absorb that variability.

  • Urgent workforce shortages when output is at risk this week, not next quarter
  • Planned production increases and order book growth
  • New production lines and product introductions
  • Shutdown periods and planned maintenance windows
  • Project mobilisation with fixed start dates
  • Backlog recovery when output has slipped behind programme
  • Rework and defect reduction campaigns
  • Planned repair campaigns, cosmetic and structural
  • Short term contracts from a few weeks upwards
  • Long term contract support across a season or programme
  • Permanent appointments from technician to management
  • Complete project teams with supervision included
  • Supervisors and project managers to lead delivery
  • Consultancy and process support alongside the personnel
Tailored plans

Recruitment support built around your business

No two workforce requirements are identical. Kold Composites creates a tailored recruitment plan around your roles, timescales, location, project structure and the level of support you need. Our layered back office system combines recruitment coordination with useful data analytics, giving you one place to manage the process and understand progress.

We can support a single stage of recruitment or coordinate the complete requirement. Whether you need one experienced technician, several permanent appointments or a larger project workforce, the plan is shaped around your operation. Tailored support can include understanding the exact role, identifying the relevant composite processes, establishing dates and numbers, building the sourcing plan, reviewing the technician pool, matching candidates by practical experience, coordinating communication, supporting interviews and selection, monitoring progress, and providing relevant data and reporting. When requirements change, the approach changes with them.

How candidates are matched

  • Sector background and the standards that come with it
  • Certifications, verified at source before introduction
  • Right to work status, confirmed with documentary evidence
  • Availability, location and shift or rotation requirements
  • Supervisory experience where leadership is part of the role
  • Project requirements, from takt time to inspection intensity
